No not a trick question - there was some debate here at work at where they hail from, someone said Mike Scott was from Scotland

I know Karl Wallinger was from Wales. He shared a flat with my next door neighbour.

Although they all pretended to be from deepest rural Ireland in the later stages of their career!!!
