"An End Has A Start" - The Editors. Good album marred by a mushy compressed sound, especially on the singles - first time I've really heard that on an LP.

On order "Fear of a Blank Planet" - Porcupine Tree

Sunn O))) - Oracle

I am mainly a CD buyer, but there are a few things which are only available on vinyl. I use a modest turntable (Project Debut II with Cambridge Audio 640p phono stage) although I suspect I would buy more vinyl if I had a better turntable. Still dreaming about an LP12...

I've been buying and enjoying some of the Quiex vinyl re-issues of late:-

Led Zep IV
Selling England by the Pound
Who's Next
Aqualung

Jap pressing of Al Stewart's 'Modern Times' and a very nice new remaster by Cisco Music of 'Aja'.

Oh, and a 30th anniversary DSOTM.

Have a look at the Audio Affair web-site.

Stamford Audio have some good stuff too.

Listen to these suckers and even on the mighty 555, CD is a comparitive joke.

John.
