Pentangle were good but they did make me realise how old I must look these days!

I thought they looked damn good, they looked like themselves, no facade, which stood out compared to some of the others bands on the show recently.

They looked comfortable together again, Danny Thompson always looks really cool anyway.

It was a good show though. I was shocked at Pentangle. It looked like one of my mums coffee mornings, but...

Queens of the Stone Age also.

Try the Screaming Trees album Uncle Anesthesia even if only for the track Bed Of Roses.

This weeks line up was great I thought with Alison Krauss & Percy, and Emmylou too (who I think is a Goddess even though she's old enough to be my dinner lady at school). Yup, this week was a good one, and Friday is still to come. See, it's worth keeping an eye on it.
I thought Percy looked more like a 65 year old Mick Hucknell

OK, maybe not. Maybe Robert Plant has turned into Mick Hucknall & Hucknall has turned into Malcolm McLaren

On the show tonight & Friday are Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, The Raconteurs, & Sharleen Spiteri of Texas making her solo debut. Also Wisconsin's Bon Iver, the awesomely monicered Scots outfit Glasvegas, and Chatham County Line.
Mary Wilson of The Supremes talks about the Story Of The Supremes exhibition at the V&A.

She only needed some bad tats and the whole image would be complete.

I did enjoy Nick Cave and The Raconteurs though.

What did she do wrong?
I only got to see Nick close the show.
Sharleen IMO is a great singer with a great voice.
I stood next to her while she did an a cappella a few years back on the Chris Evens T.F.I.Friday show, and it was fantastic.
The women can sing.
