Did not last too long with the Willie Nelson disc. Not for me.

This is much more like it. Beautiful piano trio - no one does this stuff better or more gracefully than Pieranunzi

Adrian, stop it! You're making me want to buy stuff, instead of listening to what I've got:

Sorry about that Nigel - I am in a jazz mood at the moment so I'll try and keep them coming. Not sure if you have amy Pieranunzi in your collection but well worth checking out if not.

As for the Mathias Eick, this is one of my favourite albums of the year. I was very surprised to read a 2 star review for it the other day. Just goes to show some people have no taste.

No worries - gotta do something to prop up the UK's ailing economy, right?

I have Pieranunzi's "As Never Before", which features Kenny Wheeler, and is a fine album. I'll maybe try the same trio's double live CD next. I almost bought the new Liebman - one of the very few decent jazz CDs in my local Zavvi. No argument from me about the Eick disc, which is my most played recent ECM album.

Regards
Nigel
