Up there with Clifford Curzon as a favourite of mine.

Last disc before bed is VM Bhatt, Jerry Douglas and Edgar Meyer - Bourbon and Rosewater

Nigel,

Though both albums are excellent, I like the Haydn better, perhaps because the music is a bit less known and more unique than Bach's million arrangements.

Stuart,

How are you?
Just came home from the city after watching the play "Nine Parts of Passion" which by the way was a great success in London in 2005.
I am hungry like a dog. I am going to post the music which I heard in the car and disappear in the kitchen.

Have a good week,
Haim

Azymuth: Outubro 1980 Release

I had no idea these guys were around for so long!
I love their *Before we forget* album and didn't think they were the same musicians.

A funky jazzy down-tempo chill with latin beats.

Love Nelson Riddle!
Corny maybe, but his orchestrasation is the best of the genre.

The ensemble is of big names (Bill Evans, Pepper Adams, Herbie Mann, Kenny Burrell, Paul Chambers & Philly Joe Jones) but the gratifying results are intimate and lavish ballads.
