From a local charity shop:-

Ray Davies - Working Mans Cafe - cd 25p.

Bach Organ Recital:-
Toccata and Fugue in D Minor
Prelude and Fugue in E Minor
Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor
Prelude and Fugue in E Minor
Carl Weinrich at the organ of Varfrukyrkan in Skanninge, Sweden.

ANANTA - "Night And The Daydream"

On the black stuff 95p.

Recorded in 1978 on the TOUCHSTONE sound recordings.

Special Promotional Copy - label on the back sleeve.

Has anyone any info/history about this album?

Hi Chris re ANANTA I have the same album and have had no luck finding any info.Mine also has a promo label and the only other ones I have seen for sale are also promo copies.
It appears to be a benefit album who for/to I have no idea.
Dave Early the drummer is the only one who has any meaningful entries in AMG and then only after 1983.

So a bit of a mystery I think.
I can't even remember playing it.

Thankyou for your reply.
I have also noticed that two of the backing vocals/musicians have the surname of Spitery, i wonder if they are related to Charlene of Texas fame?

I thought that but she spells it Spiteri.

This is ANANTA's second album a "spititual progressive" group apparently.
