Hi Ken,

much as i really like the music and Madeleine's singing on 'Half the perfect world', my cd copy sounds very dense from a tonal bass up treble down perspective. I think it's probably the odd way they're mastered it, pity it wasn't produced as neutral as 'Careless Love' released a couple of years earlier, which imo is a far better album too : )

nymph, i actually dont know that much about madelein's music, but now you mention it, "careless love" is now ordered.

I second Nymph's recommendation, Ken. Careless Love is a very nice record and well recorded.

thanks mark -- i'll let guys know when it arrives and i have had a chance to play it --i quite liked HTPW, so if CL is better, then i am really looking fwd to it.

Yes HTPW left me a bit underwhelmed but CL is very good.

Just discovered her recently based on a recommendation from 'Lontano' - since then I have caught up with her whole back catalogue. She is amazing.
