This was inspired by excellent SHM compilation that munch made me aware of - only duff tracks (IMO) were by Kiss and The Style Council.

Maybe it is me but whenever I make up compilation albums (like I used to for the car for instance) I find them strangely unsatisfying. Rather like 'Best of..' compilations I almost always prefer the albums of origin.

Difficult this. I agree with you Bruce; I've made up umpteen compilations for the car but they just don't work as well as they should, do they?

The Jimmy Webb album is "Ten Easy Pieces", a work of sheer wonderment and gobsmacking wonderfulness by the man himself. Highly recommended!!!
