By popular demand, here is a link to the section of our main website where you can download manuals in pdf format. Here you will also find two connections guides, one for older kit, and one for the latest equipment (connection principles remain the same).
obviously the connections guides are not unlimited in scope - we have covered all the usual connections but with such a flexible upgrade path the possibilities are very wide indeed. While connecting a NAC72 to a Supercap is possible, I can't imagine there are many out there doing so....
For all that, all you need to do is to connect in the same way you would a Hicap. Connect into Socket 1 of the Supercap using a SNAIC5 and then sockets 3, 4 or 5 provide the pre-amp signal output.
On the "102+Supercap" thread there is a question, not covered by the manual, of how to connect the 102 to a Scap. I understand the first part (it is like connecting a 72) but there is in addition the question as to whether it is safe / recommended to have the SCap do the work of the NAPSC?
no, not at all recommended. You push the regs close to the very edge due to the voltage difference and this could result in damage. You should stick with using a NAPSC.
