323 boards are for Moving Coil (Low Output) cartridges.

"S" is for general use - "K" was based on "S" but optimised for Linn cartridges.


For 323 (moving coil) boards: -

Hold the board with the component side toward you and the gold locating sockets pointing downwards. Between the first two (reading from the left) you will see a resistor.


The value of this for "K" boards is 560 and this is shown by colour bands - green - blue - brown
The value of this for "S" boards is 470 and this is shown by colour bands - yellow - violet - brown.
